| How do you usually play bass, with your fingers or a pick? I myself prefer fingers because it builds finger strength (and calluses ) and it also sounds better to play with your fingers. |

| I prefer my fingers, too, but then sometimes it's easier to use the pick. Personally, I don't find picks easier most of the time, but let's say I'm playing a chord or two strings at once, or I just want to play muted strings and have it sound cooler. |

| I use my fingers because pick noise gets irritating @ times. fingers are nature given so they win by default. :mrgreen: |

| fingers of course, but i use a pick when playing certain songs that need that growl. But those are usually easier songs. |

| I usually play finger style, but I'll use a pick on songs that need that kind of attack you only get from a pick. Sometimes, when a song requires both, I use banjo thumb picks and a bit of compression. ![]() |
