Novice Bass Player

I just bought an Acoustic B100 bass amp. Haven't received it yet. I'm going to be playing through our sound system at church so I wanted to use the amp as a monitor while running it through the sound system at the same time. Anybody have an Acoustic amp that they want to give advice or some tips on?
